BEWARE OF LOW BALL PRICING IN AUTO TRANSPORT COMPANIES

BEWARE OF LOW BALL PRICING IN AUTO TRANSPORT COMPANIES

Low-ball pricing is common in practically every service industry. If a customer calls enough dealers, inevitably they will find one that has a much lower price for the service than any other company.

Beware of low-ball pricing!

Why you ask? Simply because of the old adage: if it appears to be too good to be true, it probably is!

When a company offers an unbelievable quote for transporting your vehicle, they then must go out and find a transport company that can do the job for that price, and that is much easier said than done. This is a competitive business, and most times the prices are determined by the marketplace. Auto transport companies are fully aware of the cost involved, and because of the competition they have to keep their quotes realistic.

If you find a transport company that is willing to do the job for considerably less than everyone else, chances are great that they will either not be able to fulfill their contract or they will provide sub-standard service in the process of fulfilling the contract. Either scenario is unacceptable.

Go with a company with a proven reputation and excellent recommendations. Follow those two guides and you can’t go wrong.

For all of your auto transport needs, call Pro Sports Auto Transport. Professional athletes and entertainers swear by us, and that is a pretty good recommendation!

SNOWBIRD SEASON FOR AUTO TRANSPORT

SNOWBIRD SEASON FOR AUTO TRANSPORT

You have all probably heard the phrase ‘snowbird season’ but do you know what it means?

Snowbird Season is generally considered to be between the months of October and March, when many people, usually retirees, move from the cold northern climates to the warm, sunny southern climates. This happens most often in the Northeast states like New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, etc., and the exodus to states like Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and even Arizona.

We mention this because this is the peak season for auto transport companies, and there are two points of interest you should consider about this season. One, there are many people moving south at this time, which means there are a great many auto carriers concentrated on established north to south routes.

Secondly, since there is so much activity, it could possibly be more difficult to arrange a transport on short notice. The more advanced notice you can give during this time of the year, the better!

Keep that in mind if you have a possible move that you are considering. As always, for all of your auto transport needs, call Pro Sports Auto Transports, the professionals in the auto transport business.
